\”Jerusalem – Ultra-Orthodox Newspapers Photoshop Women in Israeli Government\”
So we call this the twenty-first century, when women are still being pushed to the side as inferior?
“The daily Yated Neeman digitally changed the photo, moving two male ministers into the places formerly occupied by the women.”
Censorship is scary enough, but when a women makes it into a higher position of power they are the ones to be censored? It’s crazy! Modesty or not, these women deserve to have their faces shown.
How about when the newspapers seem to be showing off the G-20 world leader’s wives and their wardrobes instead of important global crises: \”Sizzling G-20 Wives\”
I’m definitely no feminist, but I see issues when these topics make the news. First of all, why do we need to examine the wardrobes of the G-20 Wives when there is war and famine and a recession at stake. Nevermind the fact that all the leader’s are men with women at their sides. One day I hope to see the title “Sizzling G-20 Wives and Husbands.”
